Cassie Chris is a multidisciplinary artist and storyteller based in Brooklyn, NY. She recently worked as an Adult Animation Development Trainee at Comedy Central. Her creative journey began with sculpting and cartooning as a teen and she's been building vivid, offbeat worlds ever since.

 

Over the years, Cassie has worn many creative hats including but not limited to creative entrepreneur, published jewelry and visual artist, sculptor, teaching artist, journalist, production assistant, unit production manager, and (most importantly) the best mom in the world. Cassie’s varied experiences aren’t detours—they’re fuel. Each role she’s taken on, from has deepened her perspective and sharpened her storytelling instincts. At the heart of it all is her passion for telling emotionally resonant stories with a surreal, darkly comedic twist.​

Her work lives at the intersection of surrealism, comedy, and emotional honesty, with a strong love for dark humor. Her writing weaves through the worlds of adult animation, live-action horror and thriller as well as strange, twisty stories that sit somewhere between "haha" and "what the hell was that?" sometimes with a dash of magic and the supernatural.
